She also often writes under the pen name Kate Brian, which includes both her Private and Privilege series that she is well known for. Kate went to Pascack Hills High School in New Jersey and was into cheerleading, singing and acting growing up. She then attended Rutgers University and majored in English and Journalism. Robert G. Barrett (1946-2012) was an Australian novelist of crime fiction. Barrett was raised in Bondi, New South Wales, where he worked as a butcher for many years. He later moved to the Central Coast of New South Wales, appearing in many films and television commercials while writing his Les Norton novels. He died in September 2012 after a battle with cancer. Lots of characters go missing in Dennis Lehane novels, but in this case, Lehane’s dog has gone missing in real life.

His beagle Tessa went missing in the Boston neighbourhood of Allston on Monday, last seen around 4:30.

The reward for finding her is quite an interesting one – a character named after you in a future novel. (more…)
