One thing you have to appreciate about the Andy McNab books is you know he isn’t just living in a fantasy world; as a Sergeant and ex-member of the Special Air Service, he’s actually lived through a lot of the stories he tells.
McNab doesn’t have to do research for his books; he lived it. As you read the stories of the likes of Nick Stone, McNab’s main character, you have to wonder just how much of it is McNab basically writing an extended version of his memoirs. (more…)

Joseph Finder is an American author who writes various thriller novels. His books cover a variety of topics but are generally based on mystery and suspense, with some espionage stories thrown in. His novel High Crimes was adapted to film starring Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman, while Paranoia was made into a movie starring Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman and Harrison Ford. Jonathan Kellerman, who has a Psychology BA & Ph.D, is most famous for his books featuring child psychologist Alex Delaware. He has also written many other novels, including books revolving around Petra Connor, who is part of the “Delaware universe”. Jonathan Kellerman, famed author of the “Alex Delaware” books, created an additional character in the Delaware universe called Petra Connor.
Petra first made her debut in Survival of the Fittest in 1997 in a minor role. The Petra Connor character would have two of her own novels and feature again in the Alex Delaware books Obsession and A Cold Heart. (more…)
